As we have learned, one of the key characteristics of Web 2.0 technologies is collaboration. This week we will take a look at an online tool that is ALL about collaborating...WIKIS! I am sure that you have heard of the popular online encyclopedia Wikipedia, which is created using wiki software, but did you know that anyone can create their own wiki with freely available tools? As with the other things we have discovered thus far, creating and editing wikis can be a snap. Let's learn how to edit wikis and explore the various ways in which they are being used in higher education.
