Week 9: Online Videos and Podcasts

The video above was located on the online video sharing site TeacherTube, a great website where educators are sharing some interesting visual resources.

In recent years, there has been an explosion of online videos that are being created and uploaded by both professional and everyday content providers. Simply walk into our library on any given day and you will surely see one of our students watching videos, and although there are millions of "entertaining" clips to view, these sites also offer numerous educational videos as well. Therefore, for Thing 19 we will explore some popular video sharing websites and see how they are being used by today's educators.

Thing 20 will take us into the wonderful world of podcasts, which are online audio broadcasts, and are being created for just about every subject or interest imaginable.
