Thing 4: Registering Your Blog and Getting Started

If you have made it this far, you've already completed 3 things of the 23! Give yourself a pat on the back for taking the initiative in your learning.


Now you need to register your blog and begin keeping track of your progress.

You can register with MCPV Learning 2.0 by sending an email message with the URL of you blog to Mary McMillan.


What happens when you register?

1. A link to your blog will be posted on the Participant Blogs page. This way, everybody can share what they are learning and ask each other questions. (Your personal information will not be published anywhere on this site unless you choose to add this information in your own blog).

2. All future activities throughout the program will have a blogging component. Sometimes you will be asked to simply give your thoughts on a particular subject, and at other times you will be asked to add certain elements to your blog such as web links or photos.

3. Throughout the program, you are encouraged to check out the blogs of other participants to read and comment on their posts. It is in this group dialogue where some wonderful ideas can surface and make this process collaborative and fun.

4. I will also be reading your blog posts in order to answer any questions that arise, give feedback via your blog entry's comment field, and make sure that those who qualify for prizes complete all the required tasks.
